The www.cristalens-international.com website is intended for anyone wishing to obtain information on Cristalens’ activities as well as on the products or services marketed or provided by Cristalens. The use of this site is free.
This site includes two (2) types of users:
Patients and individuals with access to information on the Cristalens company and all the entities that make it up, popularized scientific information on the subject of vision and cataracts as well as various patient information. As well as the possibility to contact the company via forms.
Healthcare professionals and medical device distributors have restricted access on the basis of an account creation allowing them to access further data such as technical information on the company’s products, scientific publications, direct contacts within the company, access to the online calculator or information on distribution methods.
The information on this site is regularly updated. Cristalens, as the publisher of this site, reserves the right to make changes, corrections and/or improvements to the information, services and programs described, at any time and without notice. If one or more of the provisions of the present general conditions of use were to be invalidated for any reason whatsoever, the other provisions will retain all their force and scope.
In case of account creation, the accuracy of the user’s status will be verified within a period of 3 days during which the good faith of his declaration will allow him to access the health professionals’ space. Still in the case of account creation, please keep your connection identifiers confidential, use the site in accordance with its purpose and do not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the site.
The creation of an account is STRICTLY reserved for health professionals and medical device distributors. In the event of non-compliance with this clause, Cristalens reserves the right to delete the account with a status defect.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The general structure, as well as the multimedia creations, animated or fixed images, drawings, graphics, videos, trademarks, database, texts, sounds, know-how and any other element composing the site are the exclusive property of Cristalens. Any total or partial representation of this site by any process whatsoever, without the express authorization of Cristalens is prohibited and would constitute a counterfeit sanctioned by articles L.335-2 and following of the Code of the intellectual property. Cristalens authorizes to make one (1) electronic or paper copy of the information appearing on any page of the site, subject to the respect of the following conditions:
- The copy must be used only for personal, associative or professional purposes. Any use for commercial purposes is excluded,
- The copy respects the integrity of the documents reproduced (no modification or alteration of any kind),

SPECIFIC CASE: The site presents a toolbox allowing connected users to download certain resources (videos, images, brochures, notices) belonging to Cristalens. The downloads of these resources, provided that they are exclusively made on the appropriate Toolbox space, are not subject to the regulations presented above but to the following ones:

Cristalens undertakes to respect the provisions of the Public Health Code and the ANSM Charter relating to communication on the Internet by medical device companies or any other regulatory obligations of importing countries in terms of product conformity and rules applicable to their promotion.
Cristalens also undertakes to make every effort to ensure the accuracy and updating of the information provided on the site, although this information may be erroneous. Cristalens also undertakes to make every effort to ensure the maintenance and availability of its website as well as the security of the data on it.
However, it should be noted that :
- Cristalens cannot confirm that each User is who they claim to be, and as such Cristalens cannot be held responsible.
- The information communicated on the site is provided for information purposes only and without guarantee of any kind. Cristalens makes every effort to provide users with available and verified information and/or tools, but cannot be held responsible for errors, lack of availability of information and/or the presence of viruses on its site. These Terms of Use, as well as any dispute arising from the use of the web platform, are governed, interpreted and applied in accordance with French law. HYPERTEXT LINKS
In-line links or any other process aimed at integrating parts of this site on third-party sites are prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to situations in which the User relays information on the Site within social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter.
These Terms apply only to this Site, and not to websites owned by third parties. We sometimes provide links to other websites that we believe may be of interest to the User. In such cases, we ensure that these first degree links meet the highest standards of computer security. However, due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot be held responsible for the content of sites other than this one, the present Conditions not being applicable to non-Cristalens sites.
TRANSPARENCY ACT (France)
In application of the transparency regulation of the law of December 29, 2011 relating to the reinforcement of the sanitary safety of medicines and health products, Cristalens is required to make public the existence of agreements and benefits of at least €10 including tax (including amounts which, rounded to the nearest euro, are equivalent to €10 including tax) benefiting the categories concerned by the said law.
This law guarantees the independence and impartiality of decisions taken in the field of health. It imposes transparency of the links between the health industries and other actors in the health field, health professionals, students, learned societies, associations, media, etc.
Links of interest do not mean conflicts of interest. In order to develop their products, companies have to establish relationships with experts, journalists and public actors. Of course, this complementarity must be preserved and developed, as it advances science and allows therapeutic progress. But these links must be known to all and easily accessible.

The User undertakes that any question relating to a Cristalens product, any case of complaint, adverse effect or special interest such as error in the use of the device, use not indicated, misuse, abuse, lack of effectiveness, falsification or suspicion of counterfeiting, failure of the medical device, will be transmitted or redirected to Cristalens within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours at the following contact point
